Ambivalent Travellers, where four pieces of a card that have been personalized by different spectators vanish and end up scattered amongst the magician’s pockets. While being inspired by Dai Vernon’s “Travelers” and Larry Jennings’s “Ambidexterous Travelers”, is a very unortodox approach that is worthy of repeat viewings and study – because it is almost free of sleights. Instead, it relies on misdirection and social interaction.
Note: This routine is not suitable for parlor or formal close-up. It is meant for close-up and “real world” conditions. For parlor and formal close-up, “Mr. Fogg” would be more suitable.
