The 1930s and 1940s were the golden age of traveling carnivals in the U.S. They traveled through small towns in the Midwest with their grocery items and games.

One of the great features of all the carnivals was the psychic tent. For 50 cents you could find out what your future would be, love? Or wealth? Or some kind of bad omen?

Some use crystal balls, some use tea leaves, most use tarot cards.

Throughout the Carnie underworld, it was known that some fortune tellers attracted more customers than others.

They seem to have a real sixth sense about their customers, revealing things even before the cards are turned over.

The tarot cards they use all look the same, with weird clown-like polka dots on them.

They are called the Carney Tarot. We've recreated the Kani Tarot 22 Major Arcana cards for you. They are marked just like the originals. One way and encoded in cards.

The cards are printed on 100 lb. paper, hand sanded and aged. They come with a “Certificate of Provenance”. You will know which card is facing up and which is facing down. You'll know what a card is before you turn it over.
