The effect:

The mentalist comes forward with a booklet that zooms in on the evolution of the world’s most famous brands. It covers the evolution of iconic fast food chains, car brands, clothing brands and beverages, among others. Each left page shows the evolution of the brand in question, while the right page shows some other brands from the same period. The viewer is invited to name several random logos, including the striking logo on the left page, and the mentalist knows always which logo is on the left page.

This effect can be interpreted in different ways:

  • The magician demonstrates his mastery of memorization by claiming that he has memorized the entire book.
  • The magician appears to read the spectator’s thoughts and accurately identifies the logo they are thinking of.
  • The magician appears to read the spectator’s body language to determine which brand they are thinking of.

No matter how you present it, your audience will always be deeply impressed.

The second phase involves correctly determining the primary color code associated with the brand in question. This skill can also be demonstrated in a variety of engaging ways. The mentalist unerringly identifies, with 100% certainty, the 6-digit color code associated with the brand.

The effect can be repeated several times and made increasingly challenging by asking for fewer logos to be named. Even if only 3 logos are mentioned, you can still identify, with 100% certainty, the brand in question.
