Allan Ackerman is a true card expert. in addition to being one of the most failed card men in the world he has created many original routines and techniques that are in common use. This double length DVD combines his two previously released videos, the Las Vegas Card Expert and every move a move, where he performs and demonstrates and explains many of his best creations. Allan also reminisces about Edward Marlo and gives his insight and advice on sleight-of-hand.
Performed and explained include: Routines
Of Mind: Change A spectator thinks of one of five. You toss one of them into the pack and then spell her card to find it. The other four cards change to aces.
76 Collectors: A multiphase routine where the a seven and a six are used to repeatedly produce signed a selection under impossible conditions.
Ultra Mental: Impromptu Spectator names a card A and when the deck is spread her card is the only one reversed.
Coincidence: Quick A PSAD is placed on the table. A spectator selects a card and returns it into the deck so it is sticking out half way. The selected card matches the prediction and the two cards in the selection are its two other mates.
Opener: Ackerman's More than an opener this is the act that Allan used when performing for magicians and laypeople. it a flowing combination of routines where each phase recycles the deck for the next routine. you begin with Alex elmsley given Brainwave, followed by Dai Vernon given triumph, a Memorized deck aroutine, and close with the super Cull.
Blues: Mixed-Up An ingenious self-working & Water routine with blue backed Oil and red backed cards.
Spectator Cuts Double: The Spectator cuts the deck A into four packets that are shown to have the kings on top and aces on the bottoms.
Mates: Gemini Spectators. The four kings into the deck face up and when the deck is spread they are shown to find their queen mates.
Paul Fox: Impromptu Spectators think of a Four card from packets of a shuffled deck and you divine their thought of cards.
Double Brainwave Update: Marlo's A spectator the names any card in a blue deck and the matching card is found to be the only blue backed card in a red deck.
Vanishing Aces: The Three aces this one at a time and re-appear face up in the deck. the fourth ace vanishes from the deck and appears on the table.
Finale: Reassembled Direct four ace assembly A with a gambling theme ends with the four aces appearing back on their original packets.
Packet All-Backs: Small Three kings are shown to have backs on both sides. All three cards are then shown to be duplicates of a selection and finally all the cards are shown to be aces.
The Card Case Collectors: Revisiting Three signed cards are placed between the four aces and all are placed into the card case. Four kings are now displayed and they magically capture the signed selections between them. The selections are then vanish to join the aces back in the box.
