I have always been a big Star Wars fan, and adding this theme to my magic has been something I have always worked on throughout my life.

Star Wars gives lots of great presentational ideas for use in magic. If you think about it, Jedi Knights are like magicians, being able to plant thoughts in people's minds and make things float. It makes me wonder what sort of card tricks they would have been able to do, but then the films probably would have been less interesting if they shuffled cards instead of swinging Lightsabers!

One of my favourite card tricks has always been the classic card stab. You know the one, a card is selected and lost in the deck, the cards are tossed in the air and the selected card is stabbed with a sword. I have always wanted to achieve this with a Lightsaber. It's something I was working on for a long time, going through a lot of toy Lightsabers, opening them up and destroying them. I had several ideas that were way over engineered. It turns out, as always that simple is the way to go, as you will find out shortly.

The Lightsaber Card Stab is the feature trick of this eBook, but I have included some of my other ideas and routines that I have worked on, and used over the years. I hope you enjoy them ?
