Seer by Jamie Daws
Liam says...
The Seer is a VERY clever envelope, that will let you peek and / or switch, and there are going to be a million applications for it!
Jamie hand-makes them from sturdy black card, so they look great, and will last - and in the package are some download video instructions that give you some great routines to get you rocking!
Official blurb...
“SEER IS A NEW VERSATILE MENTALISM UTILITY WHICH ALLOWS YOU TO NOT ONLY SWITCH BILLETS AND CARDS, BUT ALSO TO PEEK WRITTEN INFORMATION AND PREDICT WHAT EVER YOU WANT!
IT IS THE COMBINATION OF TWO OF MY FAVORITE GIMMICKS ROLLED INTO ONE! THIS HAS BEEN GETTING RAVE REVIEWS IN MY LECTURE AND IT’S AMAZING TO FINALLY BE ABLE TO BRING A FULLY FORMED INFORMATIVE COLLECTION OF EFFECTS UTILIZING THIS WONDERFUL PIECE OF GIMMICKRY!
I’M SURE I HAVE ONLY FOUND THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG AND I LEAVE IT TO YOU TO UNCOVER THE REST!”
Imagine being able to peek, switch and pre-predict with one single envelope. All at the same time...
That’s exactly what SEER does!
Here is a sample routine that can be achieved with SEER:
The mentalist writes something on a business card and folds it into quarters, handing it to a lady in the front row for safe keeping. He immediately offers out a handful of business cards to random audience members and asks them to write down the name of a place they have always wanted to go to but have never managed.
Once they have been written, all of the cards are collected by another random spectator who is asked to mix them up. Once done, she is then instructed to look at any one of the cards and remember what is written on it being careful not to give anything away. She is then asked to take another card at random but this time, to not look at it.
These cards are placed into a black envelope which is kept in full view throughout. Even though the mindreader has no idea of what was written down, he manages to correctly reveal the random place the spectator is thinking! The card is taken from the envelope to confirm he is correct.
The final card is tipped out of the envelope and the envelope is shown empty. Even though the card was placed sight unseen inside the envelope and not even the spectator knows what is written upon it, the mind reader brings the audiences attention to the card that was folded BEFORE anything even began!
It is unfolded and shown to predict the second selection perfectly!
